New Strongman Class!
Tony is hosting a weekly strongman class on Mondays at 7:30pm. Who is strongman for? The short answer is everyone! Strongman training increases real world strength, because in the real world we a required to move awkward objects as efficiently as possible. Barbells only exist in the gym. The movements done during strongman training help develop the posterior chain and increase core strength and stability. The movements are scalable for any strength and skill level.
Most classes will consist of a lift, a skill, and a workout. Be prepared to push, pull and carry!
New Kids’ Sessions Added for the Summer: We have included Tuesday and Thursday kids’ sessions at 9:30am. These classes will be offered temporarily for a few weeks so we can determine interest/attendance. If the sessions are well-attended, they will remain on the schedule for the balance of the summer.
July 4th: The CrossFit York Summer Classic will be held at Santander Field, where the York Revolution play. Click on “Special Events” on crossfityork.com for more information and for the link to register your team! We are already receiving registrations, so don’t delay!

Be Like Lindsay—Send her to Nationals! Order deadline has been extended to MIDNIGHT, MONDAY JUNE 23. She will represent CFYork and WRBB competing with athletes like Christmas Abbott! We will have a WOD PARTY for Lindsay, and wear our Be Like Lindsay t-shirts, on July 5 at the 10:00am session!
CrossFit York is excited to support the 2014 Can-Am Police-Fire Games by hosting The CrossFit York Experience for Games competitors, friends, family, spectators, and the general public on Saturday, July 12, from 10-4. A portion of all proceeds for this event will go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The CrossFit York Experience is a way to experience CrossFit in a friendly, social environment through participation in a CrossFit WOD (workout of the day) in true competitive style.
